This sequel picks up 18 years later from the original and finds Elwood Blues being released from prison and trying to re-form his old band with new lead singer Mighty Mac replacing Jake. A road trip culminates with a battle of the bands against the Louisiana Gators led by B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Dr. John, and others. Elwood must reunite the old band, with a few new members, and go on another "Mission from God." I love the blues brothers 1st edition (1980) … but this sequel is one the worst movie i've ever seen…

I don't understand what's the point of the movie…

Dan Aykroid, John Goodman, Aretha Franklin, Frank Oz, BB King and many famous people include in this movie but I feel like watching kindergarten movie..

The cars crashed, the action and all seems just like toys…

What i don't understand alsa how come the blues mobile can dive and ride into the bottom of the river????? What's the point…

Magic un this movic, turn the Russian to the mouses.. I think it's absurd

etc etc etc Depending on your tastes, this movie will either bore you to tears with the re-hashing of the first movie, or keep your feet dancing with the music. The car chase scenes are dopy, (With only one exception, the huge pile up) the dialog unimaginative, BUT…BUT the music makes the movie worth it. I loved the song and dance scenes, but the plot needed work. I rate this movie a 6.5 out of 10. See it, rent it, maybe even buy it, but wait for the widescreen edition before selecting the last option.
